You are invited to attend the 2016 edition of the biennial conference of the South African IEEE, Joint Chapter on Antennas and Propagation (AP), Microwave Theory and Techniques (MTT) and Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC), to be held in Stellenbosch, on 28 and 29 July 2016 at the Stias Conference Centre.
This conference brings together engineers and researchers from South African industry and academia who work in fields related to AP, MTT, and EMC.
All conference contributions will be by invited presenters, including a few international, plenary speakers. Topics covered will include, but are not limited to research and development work in the areas of antennas, radar and remote sensing, the SKA radio-astronomy project, active and passive microwave devices, electromagnetic wave propagation and spectrum management, computational electromagnetic modeling, and electromagnetic compatibility.
The conference is organized by the South African IEEE Joint AP/MTT/EMC Chapter and the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Stellenbosch University.

The conference has two registration categories:
In the case of a student registration, a written declaration from the study leader must be sent to email@example.com within 48 hours of completing the registration procedure, to confirm the status of the registrant as a full-time student at a recognized institution of higher education.
Both registration categories include attendance of all technical sessions, lunch on both days and attendance of the conference dinner on Thursday evening. Please note that you should indicate your intention to attend the conference dinner, as part of the online registration procedure. An accompanying person may also be registered for the dinner, at an additional cost of R250-00. The lunches and dinner will be served at the conference venue and scheduling details will be provided in the conference programme.

Parking is available at the venue, thus arriving by car from accommodations further afield is also an option.
