South African IEEE Joint AP/MTT/EMC Chapter Conference 2018

August 30 − 31, Stias Conference Centre, Stellenbosch, South Africa

You are invited to attend the 2018 edition of the biennial conference of the South African IEEE, Joint Chapter on Antennas and Propagation (AP), Microwave Theory and Techniques (MTT) and Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC), to be held in Stellenbosch, on August 30 and 31, 2018 at the Stias Conference Centre.

This conference brings together engineers and researchers from South African industry and academia who work in fields related to AP, MTT, and EMC. Topics covered will include, but are not limited to research and development work in the areas of antennas, radar and remote sensing, the SKA radio-astronomy project, active and passive microwave devices, electromagnetic wave propagation and spectrum management, computational electromagnetic modeling, and electromagnetic compatibility.

The conference will involve two types of contributions:

  • Presentations by invited presenters, including a few international, plenary speakers.
  • A student poster session. Any student registrant may elect to display a poster (A1 size). This option will close when the display space limit is reached, on a first-come-first-served basis.

The conference has been approved for ECSA Professional Engineers to obtain 2 ECSA CPD (Continual Professional Development) credits. The ECSA validation number is IEEE-SA-CPD-1241.

The final programme is now available (2018-Aug-14).
